Submit Your Music!

If you (or you and your band) make awesome music, submit it for feature consideration! No one is to old or too young, but there are a few things to keep in mind.

  1. Submit music only if you and your band are the sole owner and creator of the work.
  2. If you are signed to a major label or a label with serious commercial backing, chances are we don’t want it! The Hippodrome is designed to showcase bands that have little or no support. While The Hippodrome started as a solely “unsigned” music blog, we’ve realized that “signed” means so little in this day and age that “unknown” is a much better descriptor.
  3. Don’t bother with stuff that you don’t feel comfortable putting up for download. When you submit a track to us, you grant The Hippodrome a non-exclusive license to distribute that track on the site indefinitely.
  4. To start, email us ONLY your myspace. If we like what we hear, we’ll get back to you asking for more material.
